The X-ray Microspectroscopy and Imaging Group is a research unit of the Department of Analytical Chemistry at the Ghent University. Its main activity is the use of synchrotron radiation based micro X-ray Fluorescence analysis (μ-XRF), μ-XRF imaging and absorption spectroscopy (XAS) in a variety of applications from various disciplines: chemistry, geology, cosmo-chemistry, environmental science, ... .
